Good morning, my readers. Happy Friday. I want to share with you all a recent development. 2026 has been a stand out year in terms of me getting my work out there. This only adds to it. As many of you know, in addition to being a blogger, I am an author also. My most recent book of poetry “Quiet With A Loud Mind” is being highlighted in the November/December 2026 issue of QBR The Black Book Review. For those who may not know, QBR is the first national book review platform dedicated to books about the African experience. It was founded in 1992, and they also produce the Harlem Book Fair. It is known as the African American book review of record by the New York Times.
The poem selected for feature is called “All Coping Strategies Aren’t Created Equal”, and it is on page 42. Thank you to QBR for featuring my work in their magazine. I am truly honored. This is a big deal for me.

If you don’t have my book yet, you might wanna pick that up. Just saying. Lol. Take care, y’all!
