THE HWM SUMMIT 2020 SHOWCASING HARLEM TO THE WORLD
November 9, 2020, Harlem, New York– Harlem World Magazine announces its first-ever HWM Virtual Summit, with the theme Harlem: A Beacon on The Hill. Etu Evans, influencer and celebrity shoe designer, will host this two-day virtual meeting of the minds.
2020 concludes the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance. This virtual summit is a platform designed to generate ideas, bring people together, and spark change for good–to build a stronger community for all. Harlem: A Beacon on The Hill, the first in what the magazine plans to be an annual event, is designed to spark new ideas and conversations around the arts, business, philanthropy, community, and journalism. The summit will feature talks, and panels, with today’s leaders, legends, and trailblazers of the Harlem community and beyond. Harlem World will discuss the topics that bind our communities together as well as what is needed to move forward and upward in these turbulent times. The annual HWM Virtual Summit also serves as a platform for the Harlem World 2020 HYPE Black Excellence in Journalism Award, another first for this media outlet.
Daniel Tisdale launched Harlem World Magazine in 2003. Harlem World Magazine specializes in content marketing, advertising services, and event promotions in and around Harlem. Thanks to the magazine’s digital platform, this event is open to Harlem enthusiasts around the world. The HWM Virtual Summit lasts from November 19th-20th, 2020, from noon until 6 pm.
