Volunteers Needed For African-American Heritage Day Parade!

The board of the African American Heritage Parade has issued a call for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for the parade, you are urged to attend the meeting Saturday, September 13th at 2pm. It will be held at the Malcolm Shabazz Cultural Center- 106 w.116th street. Hosts and hostesses are needed. 


  1. they are the persons who welcome the participates to the parade and the community, answer any question about parade route and line-up, support block coordinator in moving the line from assigned block, to be know gable of the event.
