The Phoenix Forum Presents: Independent Author Symposium

Good evening folks. I want to let you all know about the first event of the Phoenix Forum Discussion Group for 2014. To start off the year, we will be having a panel discussion of self-published authors discussing their books, why they chose the independent route, and answering questions for our audience on the ins and outs of promoting their work in this way.

Our panelists are:

Taneeka Wilder: 

A Bronx native, and writer for the spirit and the soul, Taneeka Lanay Wilder uses the power of the written word to heal, transport, and empower lives to live meaningfully and fully. Ms.Wilder has performed her work at Sister’s Uptown Bookstore & Cultural Center and St. Marks in the Bowery Church, and is currently in the process of self-publishing her first book entitled, “On the Precipice of  Love Lluminated: A Collection of Poems and Stories Sung From the Heart”.

Stanley Fritz:

Stanley Fritz is the political writer/Editor-In-Chief for lyvbh.com. He is also the author of “Beautiful Problems” and the Engineer/Co-Host of “Let Your Voice Be Heard! Radio.”. Born and raised in East New York Brooklyn, Stanley is a proud Obama supporter who believes that education is the ultimate pathway to prosperity.

Pat Nurse:

Pat Nurse is a writer and teacher at Laguardia Community College. Her book titled “How to Write Effective Essays and Research Papers” An advocate for empowering students, Nurse believes in teaching effective writing to enable people to do well in college. She is also a playwright.
