Greetings Family!

Social media and blogging are the latest way of getting a message out there beyond your immediate social circle, and into the broader community.  The best thing about this emerging platform, is that you can create your own platform to relay whatever messages you wish to put out there. In order to do so, you must understand the basics of blogging.

Come out to a workshop for blogging and website development. The workshop will be run by Marc Polite, the founder of Polite On Society. Marc is a two time award winning blogger.

The format will be an hour of workshop exercises. We will go over the following things:

a.     How to sign up with WordPress

b.     Defining the purpose of your blog

c.     Writing your first post

d.     Adding other elements of media.

This is to be followed by a half hour for questions and answers.

To participate in the workshop, please bring a device that can access the internet via wi-fi.

Please note: If you do not have a device, you will be provided with handy information designed to get you started.

Come out and let’s learn !
