“Born Nice” Booksigning A Success!

Good evening folks! I recently got home from my first book signing, and wanted to put up something about it. First of all, I want to say thanks to everyone that came through. Y’all all made this evening an easygoing one. I read some of my pieces from my poetry book, had time for a question and answer session, and signed some books as well.

It feels wonderful to know that your words are having a real world impact. Blogging is one thing, but being an author is a whole nother level. Ha. I felt it, the support, the encouragement, etc. Its tangible. I am just glad that so many see the value in poetry nowadays, especially when its of such a personal nature. One can feel good in knowing that you are not the lone voice in the wilderness out here.

This is an awesome feel. Much respect to those of you who wished me luck this evening. I did well, and the crowd let me know it. Its kind of like that old line that the late great Guru had. “Feeling satisfaction from the street crowd reaction”  Yeah. Like that.

What else do I want to say about this night? Well, short of me rambling on, I took some pictures and all that. Some of which you will see tonight, others which you will see a few days later. People have asked me am I going to do another signing, and others have asked me about my next book.. already. Well dang. LOL!  All I will say to those questions for now is.. In due time.. in due time.
