By Marc W. Polite
Good evening, my readers. I hope you are all well relaxed after getting through Monday. As some of you know from visiting this blog, I am a reader. In addition to being a writer, I am also somewhat of a bookworm. Such a shocker, I know! #sarcasmalert
Even with this being the case, I have to make time for reading. With the unofficial beginning of summer to begin in a few weeks, I have been contemplative about what I will read to not let my mind completely rot during the summer months.
These are my three book choices for this summer:
1. Ultra Processed People by Chris Van Tulleken
2. Self Care for Black Men: 100 Ways to Heal and Liberate by Jor-El Caraballo
3. A Raisin in The Sun by Lorraine Hansberry
That’s my list. Nothing unwieldly, and I have two recent books and a classic. I just felt like sharing. Will you be reading or re-reading any books this summer?
All comments are welcome. Until next blog post, peace!
