Good morning, my readers. I hope you are all enjoying this quiet Sunday morning. Yesterday, I had a poetry reading and booksigning. As many of you may know, April is National Poetry Month. I had the honor of being hosted at Source of Knowledge Bookstore in Newark as an author.

I read five pieces from my latest book, Quiet With A Loud Mind. While there, I also got into some interesting conversations about literature and what poetry means to people.

As people walked in and out of the store, I had an opportunity to find out what kind of books people were shopping for. Keep in mind that I personally have not appeared at the store in ten years, since the publication of my second book “Everything to Learn, Nothing to Teach” in 2015.
Despite the weather, a few people came through. I want to take the time to say thank you to everyone who stopped through yesterday afternoon. Thank you to Masani and Dexter for coordinating my set up, and I do hope to return in the near future.
In case you missed my signing, I left a few copies of Quiet With A Loud Mind at the store.
I don’t have any other in person author appearances scheduled until June at the moment. I will keep you all updated though. Take care, and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Peace.
M.W.P.
So great seeing and hearing you yesterday, good morning King☺️
It was great to see you in person as well, Jenise. Thank you again for stopping by.
