Harlem Hospital, much like every hospital in the city, is in dire need due to the reality of dealing with the coronavirus. About a week and a half back, nurses at Harlem Hospital had to protest regarding the lack of protective gear. This neighborhood is suffering disproportionately, just like all of the racial data on the coronavirus confirms. East Harlem leads all neighborhoods in Manhattan with positive cases of the virus.
