In talking about the influence of his father on his life, and sharing the ups and downs of his upbringing, Derrick takes us on a personal trip through his life experiences. Derrick Guest is a filmmaker and the founder of Griot Roll Productions. Opportunity Knocked Next Door is a compelling account of how a man who grew up in the South Bronx ended up making something of himself.
