Dreams in A Silken Cloth- May 15th

Marc W. Polite

Good afternoon, everyone. May has been a busy month so far. Most of you know about my upcoming 10 year anniversary of Polite on Society on Friday. Four days away, and it feels surreal.

The purpose of this quick post is to let you all know that I’ll be participating in an event at Countee Cullen Library on Wednesday.

Dreams in A Silken Cloth is the title of the art show at Countee Cullen. Featuring paintings by Rossella BLUE Mocerino, the artist will give a talk on the artwork to be followed by a reading of some poems by Countee Cullen. I along with Sherry Fyman will read select poems from the famed Harlem Renaissance writer. It will be from 5:30-6:45pm this Wednesday. Come through if you can!
