Greetings, my readers. For those of you who are into poetry, and would like to attend a workshop to create, here is your opportunity. At Sisters Uptown Bookstore and Cultural Center this evening, there will be a poetry workshop hosted by Sally DeJesus. Titled “Poetry Speaks For Us”, it is an event where people are given writing prompts, and encouraged to share their work on the stage. It will happen the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Come on through if you are an aspiring, new, or experienced poet.
