As a lifelong citizen of New York, a registered nurse for seventeen years and licensed childcare provider, I find myself asking “Does the de Blasio Administration support acts of corruption or will your administration be the first to finally stand up to protect children from family court supported-ACS corruption in New York City?”
From Lisa Steinberg to Elisa Izquierdo to Myls Dobson, I am appalled by ACS.
Since 2012, I have been working with nearly 10,000 mothers to create a movement to bring awareness to the need of ACS reform as a child protection agency in New York City. The family court system has become a multi-billion dollar protected empire built on seizing children and separating families. There is no accountability for hurting families in this system. There are thousands of proven cases where the caseworkers and social workers are repeatedly found guilty of fraud, withholding, fabricating, and destroying evidence, or seeking to terminate parental rights unnecessarily for the reward money.
Poor families whose only crime is being poor are often targeted. With a $3 billion budget, taxpayers are fed up with secrecy, incompetency, and familial destruction by this agency known as Administration of Children’s Services, which is responsible for the violent death of Myls Dobson and too many other children under its poor pitiful care.
Cases that can be resolved in less than 90 days are litigated as long as 9 years or more with children growing up in the clutches of this a system. Just this week, I had a mother lose a child to a man that ACS knew was a child abuser. I met a mother who has been in court for 13 years and a father for who has been fighting for his children for 17 years.
With the continuance of having no consequences for their tactless actions – along with caseworker negligence in regards to the children – ACS is in danger of continuing a never-ending practice that will only lead to more deaths, destroyed children and youth which leads to destroyed adults. I have never witness ed such immoral human beings dealing with the lives of children and families.
The Administration for Children Snatching business has grown accustomed to having these billions of taxpayer dollars to balance the budget of state employees, court investigators, lawyers, judges, court personal, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, foster parents, adoptive parents, social workers, and on and on with a seemingly unlimited corrupt dependence on this legal kidnapping for money funded by the Social Security Administration Title IV grants and the Department of Health and Human Services.
As an upstanding member in my community and a member since 1997 of the largest church in Brooklyn Christian Cultural Center. I was unaware that this was actually happening to humans until I was captured in this child rigging custody for cash system.
To have been victimized and criminalized by this system – which I thought I could trust – has been beyond devastating, definitely life shattering and left me with a sense of betrayal. I am convinced that a system that functions as criminally as this do not belong in society.
In order for family court supported, ACS corruption has to end, there has to be a better way to create jobs without torturing families and children. Asking the New York City Council to approve 362 more untrustworthy and unjust caseworkers that separates families for money is mind boggling and horrifying to me. Taxpayers already foot the bill for this child protection hoax and hustle that destroys family connections and heritage forever.
I urge you not to throw away billions of taxpayers money into ACS’ broken system. We must first address the humongous amount of fraud that has led to the deaths of four children in the first one hundred days of your administration. We must first address the removal of children and the lack the ability to protect children from their deaths.
It appears that more deaths of black and brown children lead to more money and more problems. There is no accountability in child protection services.
My heart dropped as I learned more money would be put into this system that has been failing children year after year. The preventative service budget has been slashed while ACS has doubled the number of children who will placed in residential mental health centers.
All I could think about was the Gestapo and more families being destroyed by this agency, more false documentation to support their bad misdeeds, more fraud-waste-and-abuse, more children being neglected, maltreated, and murdered, and 362 more incompetent- negligent- and fraudulent caseworkers to document whatever is need to keep their jobs or get overtime, that is a truthful fact.
Time and time again, taxpayers have heard blanket statements by ACS that heavy caseloads is what caused them to “fake document leading to removal of children from good parents or pushed them to “invent fake visits which they are paid for to homes where children were endangered and murdered.”
It’s no longer a secret that a large amount of ACS’s budget is misused in a litigious fashion against mothers and fathers who speak out against their unorganized, unfair, malicious proceedings; which goes as far as to invent evidence, manufacture facts, and create issues to then strip good mothers and fathers of their children as a form of retaliation.
Many of ACS’s baseless fraudulent claims remain in litigation in the family court system for numerous years with everyone benefiting from the fruits of the labor of the “custody for cash” business except the family that just needed a little help.
This system can formulate a different strategy of how to traumatize and destroy any family to get to reach their ultimate goals, goals of creating business which are different then what most parents of NYC think the system is there for, which is “The Best Interest of The Child.” ACS has clearly disregarded “the best interest of the child” for a long time now.
It has demonstrated more of a “Custody for Cash” type module putting children in harm’s way and many bad actors from family court judges, social workers, attorneys, therapist, and psychiatrist and on will join in for the right amount of dividends or financial rewards.
Children torn away from their homes or placed in to foster care fraudulently are growing up traumatized in a catastrophic broken system, because it is fixed this way. Children that are torn away from their homes demonstrating emotional sadness or depression are then placed on Psychotropic drugs by psychiatrist, which is more pay for foster care agencies like children in Special Ed receive more funding.
As a registered nurse I know that in a hospital setting “mechanical restraints” such as psychotropic drugs is one of the last resorts into restraining a person, usually used a to prevent self-harm to self or to others, and if used abusively such as a form of control by a healthcare professional that professional can lose our job, we can face criminal charges, fines, or we can go to jail.
So, how loosely psychotropic drugs are used in this administration against the parent’s objection is perplexing as there is severe long term effect from using these drugs, even more severe as boys growing breast but death. This type of chemical weapon is severely destructive. Removing children first then placed on drugs is a depraved and immoral action.
Moreover, research has shown death of a parent is number one most traumatic event for a child triggering everything from depression to PTSD, severe mental injuries, physical illnesses, and learning disabilities. Children constructively losing their good-loving parents not to a car accident, or a severe health event such as cancer, but to design by a court ordered answer and consequence as a result of homelessness, a sink full of dirty dishes, or something else of mediocre or false pretense must end. To pay for a residence for a homeless-family for a year is around $20,000 or less. To litigate a homeless family and place a child in care then family in shelter could easily cost taxpayers $500,000. I wrote the numbers out to really see the difference of taking a child and helping a child.
This system has clearly shown.
No children means no problems.
No problems=no business.
No business =no money.
No money=No Job.
When Amber Alerts are issued against parents trapped in this cruel, unusual, and untrustworthy custody-trapping system time, it’s time for reform. NYC children and parents should not be terrorized with fear due to this administration scare-tactics. ACS caseworkers, lawyers, therapists, and judges can waste millions a dollars a year off of one child in the system off of bogus claims, which is a small fraction compared to what could have maintained and assisted in bringing optimal health, safety, security and keeping that family together.
I witnessed and wrote a book about ACS and the system aiding and abetting abusers with financial fraud, and other incentives while inventing false situations to steal children of their loving mothers that have experienced life hardships.
This agency changes its name but the waste, fraud, abuse and preventable endangering of children clearly remains the same. It is just further buried, and the name change is a distraction that is supposed to make people forget these murders and crimes of neglect to these children and families.
In order to prevent more senseless murders, and mitigate damages to families by this system, an intensive investigation into every case where children have been removed, or threats of children to be removed must be analyzed with parents voices included.
I wish I could be that good girl and turn a blind eye to this systemic atrocity of the enormous amount of wrong by this system, but I can’t. The only justified money is into a federal investigation into the fraud and trauma, and abuse in this system. We have to stop throwing poor and vulnerable children under the bus.
This will be the only true and honest ways to get to the bottom of what is really going on in this rigged, corrupt, and racketeering failed system, where case by case demonstrates practices and policies are easily based on false documenting, and poor documenting.
I would like to meet with you to discuss changes that are needed.
POINT ONE: Confidentiality and secrecy within ACS protects the wrong people. The courtrooms must be open to the public including the news media. The Family Court system needs more regulation and more accountability.
POINT TWO: Aiding and abetting abusers under the “Father Rights” while stripping mothers of preventative services must end. Children have a right not be abused for incentives.
POINT THREE: Fraud waste and abuse must end in this system that promotes their child stripping business.
Until you hold ACS accountable for the deaths and rapes of children in their care, your administration will continue to lose support of taxpayers and parents.

history. Mothers have been protesting the unlawful removals of children
by Department of Health and Human Services in States across the nation as they
are known ACS, CPS and DPS for decades. There are as many removals for
frivolous reasons that injure the family and cost tax payers hundreds of thousands
of dollars unnecessarily as there are children left in dangerous homes or taken
from fit, loving mothers who are trying to protect their right to parent and
the right of their child from being beaten or raped by a known perpetrator.
Judges across our nation are not following rules of law and by design
these cases are being heard in family and dependency courts not criminal courts
so that they use the preponderance of the law and best interest to hide behind
and interfere with parental rights. Best Interest has become the guise
for the state to remove children and make big money. Taking a child from
a Protective Mother will insure that the parent returns to court for years as
they are compelled by the evidence of abuse to try and protect their child from
harm and resume their rights under the law. It is estimated that 58,000
children each year are ordered into unsupervised contact with physically or
sexually abusive parents following divorce in the United States. The
courts, and social services are using federal funding known as AV funding,
Tanf, and Responsible Fatherhood, to keep the protective mother on supervised
visitation programs, they fan the fire of divorcing families and reward the
abusers in an effort to make high dollar incomes for court professionals,
mental health workers, social workers and the court itself. They are
failing victims of abuse and is time for our elected officials to intervene on
behalf of the children and their parents. As a concerned citizens of this
state and a victim of the court ordered kidnapping, Ms Holland has put into

As a former foster child I second that. For too long the abuse children have suffered at the hands of child protective services have been silenced.
Was cps not created to protect children from abuse. Then why would everyone so blindly follow along and allow child protective services to keep so much of our lives a secret.
We were/are treated as second class citizens. And child protective services is so riddled with corruption and criminals that they have created a system that perpetuates abuse.

If Chiara de Blasio – the mayor’s daughter – got pregnant and gave birth to a child in New York
City, the Administration for Children’s Services would take her child
away because she has a mental illness. To get her child back, Chiara
would be forced to live as an in-patient at a drug rehabilitation center
most likely outside of the city limits while seeing her newborn just
two hours twice a week. That would be her plight if she wasn’t the
mayor’s daughter.
This happens every single day to mothers and children in New York City family courts.
70% of children with mental illness in NYC are foster care children who
are over-diagnosed on a regular basis say angry parents and mental
health advocates like NAMI (National Alliance on the Mentally Ill). They
also point out that Mayor de Blasio is turning a blind eye while
allowing ACS and Family Courts to use the controversial DSM-5 method and
book to diagnosis parents and children at the courthouse despite the
National Institute of Mental Health abandoning the method because it is
unreliable and over-reaches.
Just two weeks before DSM-5 was due to appear, the National
Institute of Mental Health, the world’s largest funding agency for
research into mental health, indicated that it was withdrawing support
for the manual.
The wrong diagnosis is responsible for thousands of New York City
parents losing custody like Ashley Dobson, whose son Myls Dobson, 4, was
brutally tortured and murder during the first week of Mayor de Blasio’s
time in office. After the death, Mayor de Blasio made sweeping
statements about change and reform promising the moon and the stars but
didn’t deliver say parent advocates.
In the end, Mayor de Blasio skipped the funeral for Myls Dobson – as did
his wife and ACS Commissioner Gladys Carrion. Oddly, a couple months
later, Mayor de Blasio actually boycotted the St. Patrick’s Day parade
to show support of the gay community making it clear where his priority are.
Taxpayers pay billions of dollars for ACS to protect children,but the agency is failing to do the bare minimum. ACS can and MUST do better. And we have to make them. Publishing this open letter is a great first step so we applaud PoliteonSociety.com for forcing this conversation and standing up for children.

In exparte court actions Voiceless children are automatically transferred to hostile ex husbands as the litigants and pedophiles and abusers for “alleged mental illness for battered mothers”…..Nothing has changed for women in thousands of years for women. Culturally, Sin By Silence still exits for women-mothers standing up in courtrooms where the Patriarchy reside and from laws passed from England to the new colonies…giving men the right to punish women. Mayor, please hold hearings and listen to the testimony of Me. Holland and other parents impacted by this corrupt system with perverse incentives. NY can and should be a model for reform for the rest of the country.
Aleah H. Letter is one letter among thousands of parents who have realized the same thing. Our child welfare and protection system is broken and poorly overseen. The evidence of the failure of this program is easily attained within court and public record. From the lack of experience, training, and education of those acting within the position of Social workers, to the lack of experience, training and education within the judicial to recognize the dynamics of inter-family violence and dysfunction. The families of America under equipped financially in an economically strapped nation to find solutions to improve, heal and treat or even defend themselves within the court system filled with civil rights violations on a daily basis. Childrens’ services do not always save a child. Childrens’ services will, more than likely, simply dissolve a family and create future ramifications of a family without healing. From the federal incentives to move a child into adoption quickly, to the demand for adoptable children, to the dark network of sexual predators, Childrens’ services is ripe for corruption and blatant misuse of office as documented in public records. Yes, Childrens’ welfare and protection divisions need complete restructure and reform. I stand with Aleah H. in demanding a discussion on the failure and errors within the current programs under the Department of Children and Families.
This letter expose the underground corruption within our family court system and Acs. The rapping of today’s family has to stop. This current system doesn’t help the best interest of the children. Its in the best interest of the employees who stand to benefit from doing the wrong thing. Generating money for their own pockets. I can’t wait to see what this current Mayor do in response to this horrible issue. If children are our future. Our future will be filled of adults with mental health issues due to molestation and abuse instilled in them by those nasty parents who have custody of them and the judge who placed them their being the ring leader. If we continue this vicious circle of deception , our future is grim at best.

My children were taken from me and placed into the custody of the many they allege abused them; a man who happens to be their father. My children’s childhoods have been destroyed and I suspect it will take them a lifetime to overcome what they have endured in the system. So very sad. I could not have stated this better myself Aleah Holland. This is exactly how I felt and still feel today after having survived a very hostile custody battle from 2005 – 2009 in Houston, Texas.

ACS came to my house like the Nazis over 100 times for a false report. I NEVER let them in because I knew I was innocent, and I knew my rights!
They would leave notes in my public hallway how they were going to have the police break down my door. My neighbors would bring me the letters it was so humiliating because they felt they would have never came if I was innocent, “So-I-Must-Be-A-Bad-Mother, or done something wrong. I was scared. I too have been a victim of this agency. A school my son never attended reported me to ACS. Claiming my son was not attending school. I explained to the ACS case worker that my son had never attended the school after he was accepted. Yet they continued to send absence letters. I called and left messages on the principal’s voice mail to no avail. The letters continued to arrive by mail. I explained that my son is enrolled in a private school, which I provided the info for and a contact person. But she wanted to turn the matter into a federal case. Came to my home interrogated me and my son. Inspected his body and my home. Asked for paystubs etc, which I showed her. I felt like a criminal in front of my child. I was six months pregnant at the time. She wanted names of people who can vouch for me as a parent. It was very humiliating to say the least. But all of that was not enough. Miss Figueroa then called my job the next week and left a message for me to call her saying it was about my son. I nearly had a heart attack because I thought something was wrong with my son. She could have called my cell phone, but claimed she misplaced the number. But I had never provided her with my job number, yet she choose to call me there and leave a message under the pretense that there was something wrong with my son. Like I said I was six months pregnant. Who leaves a message like that for a mother, especially an expectant one. I thought it was a low thing to do. She also wanted to come back to my home with some other person. I thought that was unnecessary since I had given her full access already any there was nothing left to see. It seems like she was looking for deficiencies to make a case from. So I decided enough was enough and refused to answer her calls. She also pretended that it was not the school but another entity which reported me. But I knew better. ACS can not tell me the kind of mother I am. I already know that I am a good mother.
It is refreshing to see someone stand up for themselves and others in this tragic nightmare we are forced to live in.Thank you Miss Aleah for having the courage and tenacity to fight and keep fighting these heathens in this corrupt family court system. Mayor DeBlasio, please prove to us that you and your administration understand the negative impact this is having on New York, and commit to being a champion for the health and safety of our children. In 2012, the U.S. Department of Justice released a study (Saunders Report) that found the STANDARD and REQUIRED domestic violence training received by judges, lawyers, and evaluators does not adequately prepare them to handle abuse cases. Inadequately trained professionals (including CPS) tend to believe the myth that mothers frequently make false allegations. MOST contested custody cases are actually domestic abuse or child abuse cases in which abusers have been allowed to use the courts to regain control over their victims, and bankrupt the safe, primary care-giving, protective parent. In addition, the Center for Disease Control conducted a lengthy investigation into adverse childhood experiences. The ACE study is one of the largest medical investigations ever conducted to assess associations between childhood maltreatment and later-life health and well-being. They found that a child’s exposure to certain trauma’s, including domestic violence, child sexual abuse, and/or being separated from a primary care giving parent resulted in more illnesses and injuries to children in childhood through adulthood (i.e., social emotional and cognitive impairment; adoption of health-risk behaviors; disease, disability and social problems; and premature death). THIS STUDY CONDUCTED BY THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION DEMONSTRATES HOW A CHILD’S EXPOSURE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ABUSE, AND/OR BEING SEPERATED FROM THEIR PRIMARY CAREGIVING PARENT IS A PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE. More than 100 teenagers involved in sex trafficking and exploitation were rescued over the weekend in coordinated raids encompassing more than 70 cities, the FBI said Monday.
The youngest child was 13 years old, the agency said.
The raids resulted in the arrest of 150 “pimps” involved in the commercial exploitation of both adults and children, said Ronald Hosko, assistant director of the FBI’s criminal investigative division.
It was the FBI’s largest action to date focusing on the recovery of sexually exploited children, and took law enforcement agencies to streets, motels, casinos and social media platforms, Hosko said. He said he hoped it would focus attention on sex trafficking, “this threat that robs us of our children.”

Children go in healthy and come out mentally -ill! 95% of children in placed foster care became mentally-ill as a result of ACS and Family Court.
All that we go through to have our children- this Administration for Child Snatching business against good mothers and fathers have to end!
Excellent article. The facts are shocking. I’m thankful folks like Aleah are bringing these things to our attention. At the end of the day, WE the PEOPLE have to stand up and do something about all of this or efforts like this will be all in vain.
This “Custody for Cash” Concept” that is happening in New York City is purely unacceptable. Especially that the court system is all in it together from the social worker down to the judge. Many of us are oblivious to this disgusting act that is destroying the lives of mothers and children all because of this “custody for cash concept”. What bothers me about this is that the courts can resolve cases in less than 90 days and litigating for 9 years is totally unnecessary. This was a great read because before change, we must acquire the knowledge of how the court systems in new york city are formulating this illegal multi billion dollar empire without anyone exposing this and publicizing secret thats has been going on for at least 30 years!

First, I’d like to thank “Polite On Society” for posting this open letter by Aleah Holland, RN. This piece reveals so much about the society and different cultures in the US that fly under the radar and the “good face” put out to allow the world to “perceive” the US as a role model nation. This is a new form of the different actions we’ve seen (figuratively) during the slavery years, and the years of convict leasing system that followed, in this country – the tearing apart of families, the devaluation of human lives, legal trafficking, and endangerment of the lives not considered for value by the “system” within this country. I do hope that more will read this and join in to take action against this injustice.
