While every pundit and observer make it a point of pouring over the words of the President last night, how many have stopped to ask if the things proposed are truly actionable. For instance, the issue that got a great deal of traction in the press was the proposal to raise minimum wage to 9 dollars an hour. This is definitely one of the most progressive things President Obama has pushed for in regards to working class people. However, how will this play itself out, in real terms?
This would still need approval by Congress, and in this climate, how realistic is that? Sound off in the comments section.
