Life After 5: A Profile of Life Transformation Specialist Tina C. Hines
POS: Do you have any other projects or events on the horizon?
TH: My mind is consistently racing with ideas to bring women together and also meeting with them one-on-one.
As I prepare for 2013 and beyond, I am working on our annual Remembering Me Retreat which typically takes place in the Caribbean. The retreat is for the women to step away from their everyday responsibilities and focus on themselves by participating in daily meditation, being pampered at a spa, and receiving one-on-one coaching with me. Once they step off the plane, all of their needs are met by a full service staff.
I am also continuing to tour the workshops that I offer: You Can’t Move On Until You Bury Some Things; Accessorize with Positivity ~ Negativity Does No Go With Your Outfit; and Remember Me. The workshops are designed to assist women in letting go, being positive, and focus on themselves. This is a small portion of the services I offer in my personal one-on-one sessions via face-to-face, telephone or Skype.
We will continue with the second year of Sister Friend Chat, a monthly call that brings women from around the country to one place. We discuss various topics from renewing oneself to transitioning the way we feel about ourselves and other women. The women receive tips on how to implement changes as well as applause when they have overcome a challenge.
POS: Is there anything else you would like people to know about you or FMSF?
TH: There is something that I often share with women who may think they are alone on their journey. I want the readers to know I AM YOU.
“Because I am you; the woman who held on to past issues for longer than needed. The woman who gave but never seemed to receive. I am you.The woman who often placed her own aspirations on hold because of life’s circumstances. The woman who is a mother and a father. I am you. The woman whose personal space was invaded. The woman who took to her bed because life was taking a toll on her. I am you. The woman who knew she had a passion but felt it was unattainable. I am you. I was in that place where some of you are headed, currently are or have been. But TODAY, I am mentally, physically and spiritually in a better place. It is these things that allow me to inspire women who are on their own journey. I AM YOU.”
