This election cycle, the issue of voter suppression has come to the front. So called “anti-voter fraud” laws have been springing up around the country, with Republicans enacting measures to challenge people’s rights. A few political observers have noted that this is deliberately done to discourage Black and Latino voters. While there are efforts by civil rights organizations all around the country to counteract this, it is important for all of us to be knowledgeable about voting rights.
