Good evening, my readers. Artemis 2 had a successful launch earlier this evening. After many delays, NASA launched four astronauts for a moon fly by mission that will last 10 days.
As someone who is old enough to remember the outcome of the Challenger mission, I am relieved that this launch was successful.
On my way home, I looked up at the moon this evening. If you noticed, it was a beautiful full moon. Looking at it, knowing that four human beings are on the way there, even though it’s a fly by mission, is inspiring.
I am looking forward to the pictures that will emerge from this mission. As a space enthusiast, I am looking forward to seeing what this mission will mean for the U.S. space program in general, and the increasing exploration of space as well.
Best of luck to our brave star sailors. Godspeed.
