Author Ingrid Morgan Returns With A New Children’s Book

Ingrid Morgan, Author

Greetings, my readers. Some of you may recall an author I interviewed a few years ago. Ingrid Morgan, the author of 1974: A Survivor’s Story, is back with a new book. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Ingrid relocated to Florida seeking stability and a new beginning for her family. Using her life experiences, Ingrid advocates for others who have endured trauma.

Ingrid’s new book is titled: Grandma Morgan’s Mango Tree.

She shares a bit of what inspired her to write it below.

“The inspiration for my children’s book came from a childhood dream and my love for family. Growing up, my mother would bring home mangoes from the market, and I always dreamed of one day having my own mango tree.
When I moved from New York to Florida in 2017, I finally planted one. That tree became very special to me, and I placed the names of my children and grandchildren on it as a symbol of love, unity, and blessings for our family.
“Grandma Morgan’s Mango Tree” was written to teach children about faith, family, responsibility, and believing in their dreams.”

Morgan is the author of 1974: A Survivor Story and the children’s book Grandma Morgan
Mango Tree. Through her writing and advocacy, she seeks to transform pain into purpose
while ensuring survivors are seen, heard, and never forgotten.
