Greetings, my readers. I want to share with you all a book I came across recently.
Last weekend, I attended the Capital City Kwanzaa Festival 2025 in Richmond, Virginia. The event occurred on December 27th, and was sponsored by the Elegba Folklore Society.
While visiting some of the vendors tables, I encountered an author. His name is Kerwyn S. Phillip. The title of the book is “Malik’s First Job- Financial Principles for Teens and Young Adults.
Malik’s First Job is a book that teaches financial literacy to teenagers. It is a necessary aspect of education, one that is at times overlooked in the school curriculum. In addition to talking about the necessity of saving, the book gets into multiple income sources, and differentiates between assets and liabilities.
