Good morning, my readers. Yesterday, I attended the second annual Central Jersey Book Festival. Held at the Ross Street School in Woodbridge, NJ, CJBF connects independent authors to those interested in books.
The Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce and the Woodbridge Public Library were some of the sponsors of yesterday’s event.
I met a few authors there also. Among them were Jae Logan, Chyvonne Thomas, and Thomas Patrick Tiernan.
Half an hour into the event, we were treated to live music courtesy of the Woodbridge High School Band.
I stepped out briefly to enjoy lunch at the nearby Reo Diner, and made it back in time for the “Authors for Children” panel discussion.
Moderated by Gabrielle Esposito, the panel featured authors Qiana Davis, Akira Vijay, and Ann Dinicola. They discussed what motivated them to write their children’s books, and gave advice to young readers.
The remainder of the afternoon, I spent it talking with people who visited my table.
I got into interesting conversations about AI and social media.
This is yet another event logged in for 2025.
With that said, this brings my in person author appearances to a close for this year. It’s been a whirlwind of a book tour. It has been “go time” since February. For those who have been regularly reading this blog, you’ll recall that I had a Spring, Summer, and Fall tour- launching my first children’s book during this time.
With six weeks left in 2025, it’s time for this writer to chill. I appreciate all of the support I’ve received.
Thank you, and see y’all in 2026.
