Good evening, everyone. The problems of the world, whether we want to accept it or not, affect us all in one way or another.
Whether it’s climate change, or raging conflicts, no one is untouched by these matters. Take for one example, the problem of hunger. According to a 2022 study from The Committee on World Food Security, the world produces enough food to feed 10 billion people. Starvation and famine do not have to be a fact of life.
It’s difficult not to wonder loudly if there is anyway the world could figure out a way to tackle its most pressing issues. This is what the theme of the upcoming Summit of the Future will be about.

Looking at the world situation, one can only hope that viable plans to deal with multiple crises will come out of this meeting.
