2020 Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has dropped out of the presidential race. This leaves Joe Biden the Democratic nominee by default. After a string of losses in March, Sanders found himself 300 delegates behind Biden, an almost insurmountable lead. Joe Biden has to find a way to win over progressive supporters, even though he is explicitly against Medicare for All, and has stated that nothing will fundamentally change under his potential administration.
Progressives have tried the electoral path to get the change that is needed in this country. The centrist of the Democratic party coalesced, to ensure that it would not happen. Now, the question is, what avenues do progressives have to pursue their concerns?
