Good evening, my readers. I titled this post in a provocative manner deliberately to get you to click this link, and think about what is occurring right in front of us. For those who may not have heard, the Supreme Court decided on Monday that illegally obtained evidence can be used by police and prosecutors against people.
That is pretty damn scary, and reads like something you would expect from a police state. Given how the prison industry works, this is going to ensure even more people getting bagged. Considering the police corruption scandals rippling through NYC right now, this is cause for concern for those of us who were already vulnerable to overzealous law enforcement to begin with.
What say you? Are the dissenters overreacting? Or are more abuses on the horizon? Your thoughts, please.
