Last night in Harlem, a panel of accomplished people shared tips on marketing and success. At Raw Space, ImageNation in collaboration with Griot’s Roll Film Productions launched their Indie Mogul 101 series. The purpose of the event is for entrepreneurs to hear from those who have experienced a level of success and to network with one another. The panelists were Terrie Williams, DJ Stormin’ Norman, Ade Williams and Musa Jackson. Before the panel, Derrick Guest of Griot Roll gave an informative presentation about the necessity of e-mail marketing.
In addition to the ins and outs of business and marketing, there was also a focus on knowing yourself and what you have to offer. For those who missed it, don’t worry. Indie Mogul is slated to be a monthly series.
